The ‘You Da One’ hitmaker was rushed to hospital in New York on Tuesday (08.05.12) due to ”exhaustion and dehydration” but her brother Rorrey Fenty claims she is being overworked by those in charge.

Rorrey told the Daily Star newspaper: ”I could see this coming. Her management have been working her a 13-hour day. She’s been exhausted for months.”

However, a friend of the 24-year-old singer disagrees, blaming Rihanna’s love of partying for her hospitalisation at an undisclosed medical centre earlier this week.

The source explained: ”Rihanna loves to party but this month she’s really gotten out of control. She’s been drinking almost every day and talking about smoking weed a lot too.”

Rihanna alerted fans to her health scare when she tweeted a picture of herself attached to a drip in a hospital on Tuesday although she was later discharged and allowed to fly back to her home in Los Angeles, arriving in California yesterday morning (09.05.12).

Meanwhile, Rihanna angered ‘Saturday Night Live’ producers last weekend when she failed to show up to a final dress rehearsal.

It has been announced that Andre 3000, the Outkast rapper, will be playing the role of Jimi Hendrix in a biopic about the legendary guitarist’s life. The Irish Film and Television Network announced the news and also revealed that the movie – entitled ‘All Is By My Side’ – will be filmed in Ireland.

The movie is understood to be documenting the period of time that Jimi Hendrix spent in England, recording his debut album, entitled ‘Are You Experienced?’ during 1966 and 1967. ‘All Is By My Side’ will mark the directorial debut of John Ridley, who is known for writing ‘Three Kings’ and ‘U-Turn.’ Currently in pre-production in Wicklow, it is expected that some of the filming will take place in London and it’s thought that the shoot will take around six weeks in total. The Irish Film and Television Network also understand that “locations penciled in to be used include Bray Head Hotel; the John Player Cigarette Factory on South Circular Road; Bray itself; a number of nightclubs in Bray, Dun Laoghaire and various other locations around Dublin.”

Andre 3000, whose real name is Andre Benjamin is one half of the hip-hop dup Outkast, best known for their hits ‘Hey Ya’ and ‘Ms Jackson.’ Outkast themselves haven’t released an album since 2006′s ‘Idlewild’ though Andre has kept himself busy acting in movies such as ‘Be Cool’, ‘Four Brothers’ and ‘Semi-Pro.’
